_ The 2018 Kid's Day at the Columbia Threadneedle Investments Boston Triathlon:
The Columbia Threadneedle Investments Boston Triathlon is excited to host the second annual SPLASH & DASH, taking place on Saturday, July 29th. All participants will receive a t-shirt and a medal.
There will also be a FUN RUN for any child under the age of 7!
Event details and schedule
All events begin at 3pm on Saturday, July 21st, at Carson Beach, South Boston. Registration is available beginning at 1pm at the Boston Teacher's Union parking lot, located behind the Mother's Rest Field, off Day Blvd in South Boston. t will consist of a swim followed by a run and will offer four different age groups:
Ages 7-8 and Ages 9-10: Swim 100 yards, Run 1K (Untimed)
Ages 11-12: Swim 200 yards, Run 2K (Untimed)
Ages 13-15: Swim 200 yards, Run 2K
The swimming will take place along the beach near the McCormack Bathhouse and will be in shallow water. The run will be around the Transition Area and Mother’s Rest Field.
