-) 2018 National Women's Half Marathon & 8K Run:
• The inaugural National Women’s Half Marathon and 8K (4.97 miles) will launch on April 29, 2018, starting and finishing at West Potomac Park in the heart of the excitement that is Washington DC! This woman’s only half marathon and 8K event will showcase a $7,000.00 prize purse for the top female finishers in the half marathon while a $1,500.00 prize purse will be up for grabs to the top female finishers in the 8K competition.
Course Information:
-) Race Management will have aid stations at every 1.5 miles along the Half Marathon & 8K Courses complete with Water, Gatorade, Ice and portable restrooms. (GU Gels will be located at Mile 6 and Mile 7.5 on the Half Marathon Course Only) Washington DC EMS will also be located at four locations on the 13.1 mile route and at the finish line!
