_ Athletes all over from beginners to pros come race this event. This race offers athletes with breath taking scenic views of the California coastline, along with a run course that is flat helping athletes to finish strong crossing the finish line on Cowell's beach.
Course Information:
Athletes will start off swimming 1.2 miles around the Wharf and exit the water on Cowell’s Beach. Then they will transiton into biking 56 miles beginning at Depot Park. This course is a scenic tour of the California Coastline through the surrounding neighborhoods along West Cliff Drive past historic surf spots and breathtaking vistas of the Pacific coastline. Athletes will finish strong running 13.1 miles starting at Depot Park and heading across the West Cliff Bridge to the West Cliff Path. This course is flat, fast, and has breath taking coastal runs. Athletes will run through the surrounding community, along an access path to Wilder Ranch State Park for the dramatic turnaround on the rugged ocean bluffs. Runners will hear the non stop cheering from fans as they cross the finish line on Cowell’s Beach.
