BithEnergy MLK 5K


The first annual BithEnergy MLK Unity 5K Aetna Baltimore/MPC Road Race is hosted by the Howard County NAACP. The event includes at 5K run and the Prism Family Fun Run/Walk event.

Entry Fees:
$30 before January 6 
$40 on Race Day
$20 for children 12 and under for 5K- Kids Fun Run is Free

Entry fees are non-refundable. The race will be held rain, shine or snow.

Course: Some flat, some inclines, with a downhill finish. Perfect for a winter run.

Amenities: Post-run celebration with music, food, and surprises. All pre-registered runners registered before race week will receive race shirt.

Post-run celebration: Not a runner, but would you like to join celebration? You can make a
contribution and enjoy the party. Celebration includes food and event t-shirt.

Awards: $100 cash prize for overall first place male and female finishers. There will be cash awards for top male and female finishers in the following age groupings: under 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.

Beneficiary: The race contributions assist with programs of the Howard County Branch NAACP and ACT-SO youth program.
