Heroes Ruck 2017 to benefit The Wings of Hope Pediatric Foundation. The Wings of Hope Pediatric Foundation provides support to families with a terminally ill child. This is a nonprofit, volunteer based group that assists families with a terminally ill child by providing the family with meals, lawn care, house cleaning and when needed assistance with paying bills. The goal of The Wings of Hope is to provide families with more time together creating memories becaue everyday they have together is a gift.
The Heroes Ruck will begin at 7 pm and continue through the night at Oak Mountain State Park. There will be a few challenges along the course. Rain or shine
Event details and schedule
Event day registration and packet pick up - 630pm in the Parking Lot of the Stables at Oak Mtn. State Park
Event start- 7 pm
Course will remain open until the last participant finishes or until 4 am
25k with challenges
This year we will stay inside Oak Mountain State park and will add a few challenges along the way. Each participant will need to provide their own: Ruck sack with 25lbs of weight, headlamp/flashligt, reflective gear, indoor garbage bag
