_ 2018 Heart of the Valley Triathlon, Duathlon & Kids Tri:
A long standing tradition nestled in the heart of the Willamette Valley, the HOTV Triathlon is a great way to spend your weekend. This course includes a 750-meter swim in the Osborn Aquatic Center indoor pool, a challenging, yet scenic country bike ride, and a super fast 2 loop run course. Keeping with the mission of Best in the West Events to include all ages and ability levels, this sprint triathlon, duathlon and kids tri is welcoming to all. Whether you are looking to do your first triathlon or gunning for the win, come join us!

Course Information:
Swim
750 meter pool swim in either the indoor 50 meter pool (7.5 laps), or the outdoor 25 meter pool (yes it's heated, 15 laps).
Bike
11 mile bike
The HOTV bike course is a mile shorter than the typical sprint distance, but we make up for it with rolling hills. Right off the bat, you have a steady hill leading out to the country roads on the outskirts of Corvallis. Along the course you will find great descents, flats and mild hills.
Run
3.1 mile run
This flat fast two loop course winds through the quiet neighborhood of central Corvallis. There will be one aid station on course which all runner will pass two times. Aid station will have water, electrolytes, and gels.
