The 22nd Annual Thanksgiving Walk* of Awareness for Frankfort's ACCESS Soup Kitchen and Men's Shelter takes place Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 23, 2017! Sign in begins at 7:30am, inside the First United Methodist Church building, 211 Washington St., Frankfort, KY. (For previous years' walkers, please note the NEW start location; we will NOT be starting from Church of the Ascension, but rather the First United Methodist building.) Coffee and light snacks available during registration. Walk* begins 8:30am, First United Methodist Church, 211 Washington St, Frankfort, KY. Walk* about 2 miles through historic downtown Frankfort, to the State Capitol, ending at the ACCESS building at 311 W 2nd St, Frankfort KY. The annual walk* helps fund food, supplies, and shelter for those in need.
This walk is part of the Frankfort Striders 2017 Run/Walk Series. If you are participating in our Thanksgiving Day Walk of Awareness and want this walk to count toward your total, please check YES on the question regarding the Series.
