2011 XTERRA Four Corners Off Road Triathlon:

  • The 2011 XTERRA Four Corners Off Road Triathlon course starts with a one mile swim at the WEST side of Farmington Lake, two 1/2 mile laps with a 30 yard beach run between laps.
  • Lake temperatures: high 50's to low 70's, wetsuits are recommended.
  • The swim is followed by a NEW 15.6-mile mountain bike course.

  • The 2011 XTERRA Four Corners features a NEW COURSE!
  • The course is in standard format, Swim/Bike/Run and begins, transitions and ends at Farmington Lake.
  • There is ONE transition area.
  • The NEW 15.6 mile bike course is challenging and as exhilarating as it has been in the past!
  • The NEW 4.85 mile run course loops Farmington Lake with sandy washes and steep hills!
  • The course is spectator friendly, bring friends and family to cheer you on!

    To Lions Wilderness Amphitheatre

  • From Denver: South from Durango on US550 to Aztec, straight through Aztec on 516 to Farmington, right on Pinon Hills Blvd,(at the Ford dealership) right on College Blvd, follow signs to Lions Wilderness Amphitheatre.

  • From Phoenix/Salt Lake City: East from Shiprock on US64 to Farmington. Left on Hwy170 at the western edge of Farmington, (at the bottom of Harper Hill) north 1.4 miles, right on Pinon Hills Blvd, east for 4.6 miles, left on College Blvd, follow signs to Lions Park Amphitheatre.

  • From Albuquerque: Left in Bloomfield at the light, west on US64 to Farmington. Right on Browning Parkway, right on Main, left at Pinon Hills Blvd, right on College Blvd, follow signs to Lions Wilderness Amphitheatre.

    From Lions Park to Farmington Lake:

  • From College Blvd, left on Pinon Hills Blvd, left on Main, proceed 2.3 miles and turn left into the Farmington Lake entrance directly opposite mile marker #7 on Hwy 516.
  • Proceed to the end of the pavement to the parking area.

  • XTERRA Four Corners has a 150 maximum participant swim permit, early registration is encouraged to ensure participation.
