CREDIT POLICY

Can't attend one of our events?

 
We will be happy to issue you a credit toward a future Mermaid Series event. To receive a credit, you must email us at[email protected] a minimum of 10 days before the event date. We will email you back a confirmation along with the total amount of your future race credit. Please keep the confirmation email for your records. Credits are good through the following calendar year.  Credits are non-transferable. The following credits will be issued: 

• Duathlon - Entry fee minus $10 processing fee
• Triathlons - Entry fee minus $10 processing fee

*** JUST ANNOUNCED *** We will be offering two 1-day clinics to help you train for the T9 Mermaid Tri & Du. The first is an Open Water Swim Clinic on Saturday, Sept. 16th and the second clinic is a Triathlon & Duathlon Clinic on Sunday, September 24th. 

The T9 Mermaid Tri & Du Capitola is one of the best all women triathlons on the West Coast. Capitola offers an ocean swim around the wharf, views of the Pacific Ocean, fun bike course featuring a gradual climb into the coastal redwoods, followed by a run on the ocean bluff overlooking Capitola Village.

Triathlon and Duathlon participants receive a stylish women's cut shirt,

custom finisher's necklace, and post race food.

MERMAID DASH

​

The Mermaid "beach dash" is a chance for young Mermaids to participate in the Mermaid and experience the joy of crossing the finish line.  Girls get a medal, finisher necklace and post race breakfast. The dash is for girls ages 6 - 12.

Parents are encouraged to let the girls run on their own, however you are welcome to run along, especially for parents with younger daughters.

*Entry fee does NOT include a t-shirt. t-shirts are available for sale at the event.  This is a fun run/walk and is not timed.
