_ The 2018 IRONMAN Wisconsin:
Ironman Wisconsin is known for their phenomenal spectator support. Athletes will start swimming in the waters of Lake Monona. Then set off on the scenic two-loop bike course through the beautiful rural landscapes. The two loop run will show athletes the famous landmarks in downtown Madison
Course Information:
Athletes will swim one-loop in the refreshing waters of Lake Monona (water temp ~70F). The bike course takes the athletes 16 miles out of town before beginning two 40-mile loops through the beautfiful, rural lanscapes. The course is extremely hilly with many tough climbs and turns throughtout. Athletes will finsh with running two complete loops through the history filled streets in downtown Madison.
