- The Road to Wellness 5K Walk/Run is aimed at inspiring mind, body and spiritual health through fitness and exercise while embracing Roxbury’s rich history, diverse culture and strong sense of community. The Road to Wellness 5k is anticipated to engage over 1,000 participants from over 200 surrounding communities to unite runners and walkers in their pursuit of wellness. The collaboration of The Dimock Center, Hood Fit, and the B.A.A. will expose participants to holistic health approaches through fitness resources, community events and experiential fitness clinics. The event includes: o 5K Run or 2-Mile Walk o Health and Wellness Festival, with the opportunity for participants to receive health screenings, talk to experts about health and fitness, and explore offerings from area businesses. o Kids Fun Run o Light entertainment
Course Information:
The Walk/Run course winds through the historic Roxbury community, starting and ending at The Dimock Center.
