_ The 2018 Splash & Dash Biathlon:

Race starts at 7:00am!

Start your Saturday morning off with a brisk 500 meter swim in beautiful Kaneohe Bay and finishing with a scenic 5K run to the Officer's Club and back. This race is open to the general public. Start time is 7:00am HST.

*** All civilians (non DoD) must register by Sunday, September 30 ***

You may register as an individual or as a 2-person relay team. Registration fee is $30.00 for individuals and $40.00 for a 2-person relay team. Late registration begins on Friday, October 5. Late fee is an additional $10.00. T-shirts are not guaranteed if you register late. All registrations are non-refundable.

Online registration closes Tuesday, October 9 at 11:00 p.m.

Awards will be given to the top three finishers for specific individual age categories, overall winners and the top three relay teams. 

Packet pickup for civilians (non-DoD ID holders), military, dependents, retirees and DoD employees will be on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at MCBH Kaneohe Bay Front Gate from 1:00pm to 6:00pm. You will receive a special event pass if needed to gain base access for the morning of the event. 

Military members, dependents, DoD card holders and retirees can pick up their packets on either Thursday, October 11 at MCBH Front Gate or Friday, October 12 2018 at the Semper Fit Center, Building 3037 from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Packets may also be picked up the morning of the race at Hangar 103.  If you have any questions please contact the Athletic Director at  254-7590.

• Check in and race start will be at Hangar 103. There will be signs directing people on where to park.
• If you are using a special event pass, this needs to go on the left side of your front dash of the vehicle as you enter base through the main gate.
• Participants should plan on being on site by 0630 at the latest.
• There will be a safety brief at 0645.
• Men will start the swim first and women and relay teams will start 2 minutes after.
• There will be restrooms available.
• Participants can still register the morning of the race at the race site as long as you have the proper ID to gain base access. You will need to bring cash or check.
• Awards and giveaways will be presented immediately following the race.
• There will be an aid station and water stop along the course.
