Event details and schedule

SEAWOLF KANSAS will begin at Bloomington Beach and athletes will swim ACROSS Clinton Lake to the Swimming Beach of Clinton Lake.  Athletes will exit the water at the swimming beach and traverse the rugged North Shore Trails.  Athletes will cross streams, rocky hills, and man-made obstacles all under the falling autumn leaves at beautiful Clinton State Park.  LIVE WILD.

2.5 MILE SWIM

13.1 MILE TRAIL RUN

 

SHORT COURSE:

1.5 MILE SWIM

10K TRAIL RUN

 

SWIM ONLY OPTIONS:

All SEAWOLF Registrants will receive:

  • SEAWOLF Performance Beanie Cap

  • SEAWOLF Custom Steel Camping Mug

  • SEAWOLF Custom Finisher Medal

  • Post Race Food & Beer.

  • Official Time.

 

Course support:

  • Water Safety support along the entire swim course.

  • Buoys every 250m along the entire swim course.

  • Extremely well marked run course.

  • Run Course aid stations every 2 miles.  Gatorade, GU, Warm Chicken Broth if below 50 degrees.  

 

SWIM COURSE DESCRIPTIONS:

2 MILE SWIM COURSE:

Athletes will begin on Bloomington Beach for a “2 feet on Beach Start.”

Buoys will be located on your RIGHT every 250 Meters.

Athletes will exit the water at Clinton State Park Swimming Beach.

 

1 MILE SWIM COURSE:

Athletes will enter on the Bloomington Beach Boat Dock.

Buoys will be located on your RIGHT every 250 Meters.

Athletes will exit the water at Clinton State Park Swimming Beach.

 

RUN COURSE DESCRIPTIONS:

13.1 MILE TRAIL COURSE:

Athletes will transition from the swim at the Clinton State Park Swimming Beach.  

Runners will cover 13.1 miles of the Blue and White Trails of the Clinton North Shore Trail System.  Runners will traverse rocky trails, streams, steep hills and will even cover the Skills Loop section of the trail system with light agility obstacles to overcome.  Runners will finish back where they started near the swim exit transition.

  • Aid REFUELING stations will be located approximately every 2 miles along the course.

  • This is a NO TRACE RACE.  Meaning that no trash is allowed to be left on the course.

  • No cups will be located at the Aid REFUELING stations.  Runners are expected to carry their own form of Hydration Pack or water bottles with them while they run.

  • Gatorade, Water, Salty Snacks, GU, and Fruits will be located at the Aid REFUELING stations.

 

10K TRAIL COURSE:

Athletes will transition from the swim at the Clinton State Park Swimming Beach.  

Runners will cover 10 Kilometers of the Blue and White Trails of the Clinton North Shore Trail System. Runners will traverse rocky trails, streams, steep hills and will even cover the Skills Loop section of the trail system with light agility obstacles to overcome.  Runners will finish back where they started near the swim exit transition.

  • Aid REFUELING stations will be located approximately every 2 miles along the course.
