Welcome to CyMan! The CyMan Triathlon is THE event for triathletes of all ages and abilities to compete with one another in beautiful Central Iowa. Taking place in Bondurant Iowa, the CyMan starts at Lake Petoka. The swim is one lap around for Sprint distance and two laps for Olympic. The bike portion of the race is held on paved roadways and manned by event staff as well as local police to ensure a safe and fun ride. The run covers a portion of the Chichaqua Valley Trail and ends with a lap around Lake Petoka for a scenic and exciting finish. All participants will receive a CyMan waterbottle and T-Shirt with their registration. No shirts will be garaunteed after the first of September. Medals will be given to the top three male and female finishers in each age division for both the sprint and olympic distances. We hope to see everyone have a great race!

9:00 am Olympic begins via in the water wave start
9:30 am Sprint begins via in the water wave start
12:30 pm Awards
12:30 pm Transition reopens for bike/equipment removal
The course will official close as participants finish each leg. The run course will remain open until the last participant has finished.
Course Distances:
Sprint Swim: 750 meters
Sprint Bike: 22.5 km (14 miles)
Sprint Run: 5 km (3.1 miles)
Olympic swim: 1500 meters
Olympic Bike: 39.5 km (24.5 miles)
Olympic Run: 10 km (6.2 miles)
Refreshments and recovery will be offered in the area around the finish line. The Athletic Training Room (Ankney, IA) will be on hand to help with recovery as well.
