The Privateer Pride 5K was created in an effort to raise funds for the indoor and beach volleyball teams at University of New Orleans.  We feel it is a wonderful way to engage our supporters and provided the opportunity for participants to do what they love!  The run/walk route is creatively designed through the campus at The University of New Orleans even along the lake front which is the most beautiful view.  There are competitive and recreational sections of the event to attract all types of athletes.  Although the event proceeds will go to this program you do not need to be an alumn to attend, we will make sure you have a great time.

6:25 am         Line-Up 

6:30 am         Race begins!  Go Privateers Go!

         Post race social and food available.

FREE parking is available on Robert E. Lee Blvd across from campus, on campus in the HPC parking lot (front & back) and the Pontchartrain Hall dormitory parking lot.

What we have improved since 2016:

• Official event timing!
• We are starting earlier to BEAT the HEAT!
• Photographer and Videographer on site and will post to our website!
• Event course map will be displayed at the starting line (course was marked well in 2016 so we will continue to do a great job)!
• Tshirts will be provided for each registration!
