Malta Trails and Malta Parks & Rec are teaming up for a FUN 3 Sport Relay! Bike/ Kayak/Run/Walk
Grab your team of 4, 1 biker, 2 kayakers, and 1 runner/walker! Fee of $100 per team, is due by July 7th by 5pm! Everyone will meet at Promises at 12:30pm on July 8th to start the race!
Everyone from all teams will meet at Promises Parking Lot at 12:30pm.
Once everyone is checked in we will go over instructions and parking. Then we will send the kayakers to go set up at Alkali Creek.
At 1:00pm, the bikers will start the race. They will ride from Promises to Alkali Creek Fishing Access on Wagner Road approximately 4 miles. The biker will tag off with kayakers and all team members help assist them into the water. Both kayakers travel together for approximately 7 miles on the Milk River. The exit point for the kayakers is underneath the railroad bridge near Hwy 2 on the left hand side. The rest of the team members help assist the kayakers at the exit point. The runner will meet at Blades Hair & Nail Salon Parking Lot to start the running portion. Following the signs, the runner will run/0walk to Tin Cup, approximately 3 miles.
