Join us Sunday, July 23rd for our first annual Splash and Dash event for ages 7 - 18! Splash n Dash is a multi-sport event combining two individualized sports: Swimming and Running. The race is available to participants, ages 7-18 (Please Note: Participants must be able to swim to enter Who Can Participate: The Splash n Dash Race is open to anyone between the ages of 7-18.
Participants will be split into different age groups complying with USRA rules and regulationsDivisions Ages and Race Length7 & 8 (50m- Swim & ½ Mile Run9 - 10 (100m Swim & ½ Mile Run11 - 12 (100m Swim & 1 Mile Run13 - 14 (100m Swim & 1 Mile Run15 - 18 (200m Swim & 1 Mile RunCourse Location- The course will be located at the LvO YMCA using both the indoor/outdoor pool locations along with a race path leading around the YMCA grounds.
Participants will begin in the indoor pool, transition to the outdoor pool where swimmers will turn into runners following the course till the finish line
Registration:
The price for Pre-Registration is $30. To register please visit the LvO Welcome Center or online at northshoreymca.org. In order to receive a race t-shirt participants must register before Friday June 9th! Registration the day of the event will be change to $40.
Trophies to M/F 1-3 place in the following ages groups: 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14 15-18. Finisher medals for all participants.
Of course there will be plenty of amazing post-race refreshments for all!
