The Swim Teal Lake: Benefit for Diabetes is a 2.25 mile swim across Teal Lake in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula. It is open to all ages. This year's special guest speaker is 3 time Olympian, Gary Hall Jr.
Course Information:
The swim is a 2.25 mile swim across Teal Lake, a small inland lake that runs between the towns of Negaunee and Ishpeming, in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula. The course is marked by bouys and patrolled by safety boats and volunteer kayakers.
Directions:
Swimmers and volunteers check in beginning at 7:30 am at Negaunee's Teal Lake Beach near the Lakeview Elementary School (200 Croix Street, Negaunee, MI 49866).
