We will have limited race day registration.

Tri the Beach Triathlon will take place at the Lower Shore Family YMCA in Pocomoke City, MD on June 24, 2017. Our race offes something for everyone with a Sprint distance, a Sprint Team entry and a Kids Tri. Whether your a seasoned triathlete, a first timer, a beginner, or your ready to "tri" again, our race is right for you. Swim in our beautiful spring fed lake, bike the scenic and flat country roads and run our fast out and back course. 

All proceeds from Tri the Beach benefit the YMCA of the Chesapeake.  The YMCA of the Chesapeake is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization with scholarships available to ensure no one is turned away due to financial limitations.

Event details and schedule

We will take late registrations on Friday, June 23rd from 5-7pm at the Lower Shore Y.  

Packet Pick up will be on Saturday morning only beginning at 6:30am. 

Sprint Distance: Begins at 8 am sharp. 1/2 mile swim, 13 mile bike, 3.1 mile run

Kids Tri: Begins at 10:00am. 100 yard swim, 2 mile bike, 1 mile run

Wetsuits are permitted. Average Lake temperature in June is 75 degrees.

Post Race Events begin following the Kids Tri finish. 

Prizes: 1st & 2nd Place Male and Female Overall

           1st & 2nd Place Age Groups for Males

           1st & 2nd Place Age Groups for Females

           1st & 2nd Place Overall Teams

           All Kids will receieve a finisher medal.

Relax post race on our new lakeside beach or have a little fun on our our 100 foot Wet Willie waterslide, the Blob, or explore by canoeing.
