It is that time of year to think about registration for IABT Youth Triathlon/Duathlon Event (Fighting Childhood Obesity) on June 25, 2017.

 

 

IABT Youth Triathlon, Duathlon, Splash N Dash - Baltimore Ages 6 – 15

 

 

Be challenged in this Swim, Bike, Run event at Druid Hill Park in Baltimore, Maryland at City Park pool; BIKE through City parks and adjoining roads; and RUN through the Park near the Pool.

Event details and schedule

 

Race Description: This Multi-Disciplined Event will start and end in Druid Hill Park in Baltimore, MD........just 20 minutes from Downtown, 3 minutes from 83N/83S, 10 minutes from 695 N/695 S and 25 minutes from 95S/95S. The entire Race Series is within the park and is overall an easy course. This is a great event for the kids 6 years to 15 years of age. POLICIES (No Refunds) Why You Should Take Part: IABT’s Youth Triathlon/Duathlon is important because it is designed to take on a cause that near and dear to our hearst, overcoming childhood obesity. The event takes place on a scenic, closed course in the early part of Summer. The weather is perfect, the course is perfect, and enjoyment is guaranteed. It starts at the Community swimming pool, then loops within the park and ends with a scenic course for the run. The support from the crowd is sure to motivate and inspire you even more. This event includes packet pick up within walking distance to the course front door and remains an effort to fight against overcoming childhood obesity. Each race has a participant limit, so register early to ensure a spot. Race Details: Event Date: Saturday, June 25, 2017 Time: 6 am - 10:30 am Parking will be available in the park. Giving: The IABT's Triathlon/Duathlon and Splash N Dash Event will benefit IABT's Overcome Childhood Obesity Through Multi-Disciplined Sports Campaign that is spearheaded by our Junior Athletes. IABT's Junior Athlete kicked off their three year childhood obesity campaign designed to teach low and moderate income, under-served and underrepresented communities youth alternative ways to fight obesity through multi-disciplined sports. www.theiabt.org
