_ 2017 Southern Tier Triathlon Club Summer Tri Series:
This new Triathlon Club in it's first year will hold a series of 4 Sprint Triathlons in the beautiful village of Cassadaga, NY. Races will be held on Wednesday evenings; June 21, July 19, August 16 & September 13, 2017.
400yd swim, 13 mile bike, 2 mile run.
Membership for club is $120 and includes all 4 races. Non-members $50 per race individuals/$75 for teams. USAT sanctioned. USAT membership required or one day insurance coverage $15.
Beginner to elite athletes welcome.
Course Information:
400 yard triangular swim in open water of Cassadaga Lake
13 mile hilly bike. All right hand turns. Starting from Park Ave, right on Maple Ave, right on Frisbee Rd, right on CR 73, right on Webster, right on Porter Rd, right on SR 60, right on Maple Ave, right on Park Ave.
2 mile out and back run on flat course along lake on Dale Road.
Directions:
Off of I-90, take NY-60 exit, EXIT 59, toward Fredonia/Dunkirk
Turn left onto Bennett Rd/NY-60. Continue to follow NY-60.
Turn right onto Maple Ave/County Hwy-58/County Hwy-310. Turn right on to Park Ave.
Off of I-86, take NY-60 exit, EXIT #12 toward Fredonia. Follow NY-60 to left turn on Park Ave.
