This is a unique event with a unique, family-friendly festival atmosphere. Choose one of four (4) event options and register as an individual or on a team!
With four event options, there;s something for everyone in the family, including"Fido"! Festival atmosphere includes DJ, Raffles, Bob Swaim "The Bike Guy" with his collection of bicycle oddities, appearances by "Melvin" the Lehigh Valley Phantoms Mascot along with either "Ferrous or "Fe Fe"; mascots of the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs. Run prizes for age categories, prizes for best-dressed (wear your purple!), and King & Queen of the Mountain for winners of the climb on the 42 mile bike ride. Free hot dog or slice of pizza for all participants!
Afterwards, stroll a few short blocks to take in the Upper Bucks County "Arts Alive!" festival in downtown historic Quakertown. This juried arts festival runs from 10-4 that day and draws more than 5,000 participants. It's a family day with a great atmospere and somethign for everyone!

Event Day Registrations - advance online registrations will close midnight Thursday 5/18, after which all additoinal registrations will be event day. Note that signed waivers are required for all participants. Accepted payment event day includes cash, check (with identificaion) or credit card.
Location - "The Park at 4th" which is located at 4th & Mill Streets in Quakertown PA. The park location is adjacent to the James Michener Branch of the Bucks County Free Library System
Parking - Parking is at 4th & Mill Streets in Quakertown, with the primary parking entrance on 4th Street. It's one block from the parking area to the event site.

Course Info - The 5k Walk and 5K Run courses are identical; flat route initially on streets that will be closed to traffic, with most of the route along paved park path. The biking routes are scenic, rolling and rural routes through Upperr Bucks County in Richland, Haycock and Springfield Townships. The 24 mile ride is mostly flat to rolling and contains one covered bridge. The 42 mile ride is the same flat-to rolling rural terrain, but also inccludes a second covered bridge and two moderate climbs in Springfield Township. Raffles & Prizes - for runners there will be M/F overall and age category prizes. For 42 mile cyclists there will be King/Queen of the Mountain (see website for info). For all, there will be best-dressed and raffle prizes. Don't forget to bring your credit card or cash for additional raffle prizes!
What to Bring - all cyclists are required to wear a helmet!
Cycling Route Supports - all cycling routes will have SAG support and one or more rest stops. Details on routes and support can be found on the event website.
Rain or Shine - the event will be held rain or shine. Electrical storms, however, may delay the start of the events. Dress accordingly.
