Dig out your running gear and even a pair of boots because it's time to "Give Abuse the Boot!" Presented by The Grand Purpose Foundation, this chip timed event includes a 5K as well as a "Lake Stroll" around beautiful Woodlawn Lake on March 4, 2017. The cost is $35/person and includes a race entrance, shirt, and goodie bag full of fun stuff. 100% of race registrations benefit The Children's Shelter.

Choose to run or walk the 5K, or walk the Lake Stroll (approximately 1 ½ miles). Photo opportunities in your favorite boots will be available before and after the race so bring (or wear) your favorite boots to show how you are kicking abuse in Bexar County! All ages are encouraged to join the fun!
