  • You will swim 300 yds in an indoor pool. Please indicate your estimated swim time for 300 yards.
  • Bike 9 miles on payment and run 2.25 miles.

  • You can compete individually or as a 3 person team with each team member doing one of the legs of the race.
  • Chip timing will be used for all participants.
  • You must be at least 14 years old to participate in the Triathlon.

    Course Information:

  • The Triathlon starts at The Community Center pool. The swim will be a 300 yard snake swim. Please indicate your estimated swim on the bottom of the form.

  • The participants then transition to the bikes, which will be stored to the west of the building in the Fieldhouse parking lot.
  • The bike route will take you south down Washington Ave to the first four way stop (9th Street).
  • At the four way stop you will make a right turn (west) onto 9th street. You will continue west on 9th street until you reach Highway 81 (Hyland Ave).
  • At the stop sign, you will make another right and turn north on Highway 81 for 3.5 miles. Turn around at the barrels, there will be a person there to direct you.
  • Return south to 9th street where you will make a left and continue east until you reach the four way stop where you will make a left and turn north towards The Community Center.

  • The transition for the run will be in the same area as for the bikes.
  • When you come out of the transition area you will turn right (north on Washington Ave), you will run approximately one mile and then take the first right (15th Street NE).
  • Continue east until you reach the turn around point, there will be another person to direct you.
  • Return back west to The Community Center and the finish will be on your right just before the
    • transition area.

  • The Community Center 500 NE 11th Street
  • Highway 34 into Madison from the east follow Washington Ave (hyway 34) North past the 4 way stop. You will go by Washington Elem School - Dakota State Campus - Madison Hospital. There will be another 4 way stop - continue north for one long block we are on the northeast corner and you will see the glass windows of our pool area.
  • From the West turn north at the 4 way stop (Pizza Ranch is on the corner)travel north until you reach 9th street. (last street before you go leave town) turn east(right) on 9th go until you reach Washington Ave (4 way stop by hospital) turn north (left) go one long block we are on the north east corner.
  • From the north -turn east (left) on 9th street go to the 4 way stop by the hospital turn north (left) drive one long block -we are on the northeast corner.
