On Saturday, TriMonroe is six legal draft-legal races and will give triathlon fans a chance to see athletes who are looking to qualify for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. The racing will include U.S. and International Men and Women Elite Competitors, some who have competed in past Olympic Games and others who are beginning to make names for themselves on the international triathlon circuit. A $30,000 prize purse is up for grabs.
Also on Saturday is a rare opportunity for Youth (13-15) and Juniors (16-19) to compete in draft legal USAT Junior and Youth Elite Cup races on the same course as the Elite Pros. This is a rare opportunity for future Olympians to race in a draft legal format.
