_ 2017 One Last Tri:
This is your last oppotunity to get in one more triathlon before you hang that wetsuit up for the season. Just a short twenty minute drive outside of the metro area, this is one of the prettiest courses in Minnesota. With two distances to choose from and team options available, there is challenge sure to suit everyone. Because of the colder fall temperatures, we have shortened the swim but we made up for the shorter distance by lengthening the bike. This is the perfect race to end the triathlon season.
The swim is a point to point swim with athletes entering the water at Optimist Beach (a short walk from the transition area).
This is a time trial start, with 3-5 seconds between athletes.
Athletes will exit at Ramsey Beach.
100% of the bike course features new surfaces.
The bike course will take athletes through the rolling hills of Grant Township. Quiet roads, nice shoulders and beautiful scenery make this a can't miss ride.
The sprint course is an out and back, the Olympic a lollipop.
The run courses are out and back along beautiful White Bear lake.
The course is flat and fast.
From the metro area, roughly 20 minutes north on 35E. Exit highway 96.
