_ 2017 Milkman Sprint Triathlon:
The 33rd Annual Milkman Triathlon is held in Dexter, NM. Start with a swim in Lake Van (0.5k), bike towards Bottomless Lakes State Park (20k), and finish with a run through the Dexter National Fish Hatchery (5k). Chocolate Milk and Ice Cream will be waiting for you at the finish line.
This race is also great for beginners. You can compete as a soloist or on a relay.

Dexter, is in southeast New Mexico, 60 miles north of Carlsbad, and 19 miles southeast of Roswell

7:30 AM Pre-race orientation.
7:45 AM Report to wave clerks.
8:00 AM Race Start.
11:00 AM Bike corral closes - remove bicycles.
11:00 AM Award Ceremony.
