- Held on Labor Day Weekend the Megunticook triathlon is one of the oldest triathlons in the world now in its 37th consecutive year. The location is as pristine and beautiful as you can find and our hills keeps everybody honest. Our race is all about fun, family and community. We want as many different types of people we can get, from the first timers to uber competitive season triathlete. This is the kind of race you bring your kids to and let them run around while you run your ass off. We are even having a fun kids race and bouncy house this year. Hope you can make it and enjoy the race, the people and our gorgeous surroundings.
