2011 Tri at the Tavern:

Zukey Lake Triathlon is now in the third year.

Presented by the Zukey Lake Tavern- a landmark and hot spot since prohibition days- this sprint distance triathlon will be a blast for first timers through elite triathletes.

Open water and sprint triathlon at Zukey Lake tavern on the chain of lakes in Livingston County Mi. Tri event starts at the docks of the Tavern and transition to the upper parking lot next to the Lakeland trail for 25k bike race and back for the run portion that will take you 3.1 miles around the east side of Zukey and Strawberry lakes.

After race will include lunch for all athletes as wellas drinks, music aand lots of story telling(some are probably true)

Course Information:

12 mile swim, 25 k bike route, 5 k run

Open water swims starts at Zukey Lake docks.

Bike portion will start at main parking lot about 100 yards from lake.

Runners will also start and finish in the main parking lot.
