_ 2017 Wildwoods Boardwalk Spring 5K - to benefit Special Olympics New Jersey:
This event benefits Special Olympics New Jersey and is held in conjunction with their annual Spring Games Basketball Tournament, held throughout the Wildwoods. All runners are invited to attend the Special Olympics New Jersey Spring Games Opening Ceremony, held inside the Wildwoods Convention Center at 9:30 am. The Wildwoods Boardwalk Spring 5K offers the option of a (non-timed) Fun Run 5K or a 1-mile walk. This Boardwalk "FUN" Run is a fundraiser that is open to the general public, and helps bring together Special Olympics athletes and the local community through the spirit of competition.

Course Information:
Start on the Boardwalk at Burke Avenue in front of Wildwoods Convention Center.
South to Cresses Avenue and the Boardwalk.
U-Turn to 21st and the Boardwalk.
U-Turn (Water Station) to Burke Avenue and the Finish Line.
