Habitat for Humanity Hemet / San Jacinto Affiliate presents our 15th Annual Diamond Valley Lake Marathon March 4, 2017
Diamond Valley Lake located south of Hemet and north-east of Temecula. The entrance is on Searl Road, off Domenigoni Parkway. Parking is limited and will cost $5.00.
Habitat for Humanity Hemet / San Jacinto Affiliate's purpose for this event is to raise funds to build homes for low to very low income families in the San Jacinto Valley. Habitat is a volunteer driven non-profit international organization building simple decent affordable housing for people living in sub-standard conditions. Each Family must put in 500 hours of labor " Sweat Equity Hours "and make low no intrest mortgage payments.The homes are sold to families at 0% intrest/ no profit.The mortgage payments are recycled to finance the building of additional homes. Habitat for Humanity Hemet / San Jacinto brings people together to build Homes and Building Hope

Start time of races ~ Marathon- 8:00am, Half Marathon 9:00am, 5K 9:30 am, 1K Kid walk / run 10:15 am, Senior walk 11:00am
Course - All races are on dirt roads, except for the asphalt surfaces across the dams. Mile markers occur every mile, and aid stations every 2 1/2 miles.
Participant will receives T-shirt, water, fruit, bagels, goodie bag and a beautiful Finisher medal.
Parking $5.00 fee that goes to Diamond Valley Lake Marina
No Pets Allowed
No Smoking on site
No Alcoholic beverages
