Registration Fees
The registration fees below do not include online processing charges or the $10 USAT membership fee. All participants must have a USAT membership license or must purchase a $10 one day USAT insurance policy, this may be purchased along with registration or at packet pickup. Purchase an annual USAT license.
To qualify for the college student discount, you must be currently enrolled as a full time student and able to show your student ID at packet pick-up. The collegiate entrants will be moved into age group categories.
Walk up registration, if available, must pay by cash or check. No credit cards will be excepted.

Transfers/Refunds
There are no refunds for any reason. If for any reason a racer chooses not to race and would like to transfer their registration fee to a later 2011 season race, a $15 race transfer fee will apply along with any difference in registration costs.
If a racer would like to switch catagories within the same event (ex. from individual to aquabike) no additional charge will apply.
Swim Seed Times/changes
Racers will be able to update their own swim seed time until Friday, May 13. Participants are assigned bib numbers based on their estimated swim times. Ex: Racer with bib #1 is the fastest swimmer and will start first, Racer with #400 is the slowest swimmer and will go last. An accurate swim time is very important.

Please note the race director reserves the right to add or delete a number of awards in age group categories prior to race day based on registrants in that category 2 weeks prior to race day. Awards will not be mailed out.

- Top Relay (may go deep depending on number of relays entered)
- Estimated Swim Time Award - goes to racer who's actual swim time is closest to their estimated swim time
- Fastest Rookie Award - goes to fastest first time triathlete
- Great Ball of Fire Award - goes to the most spirited individual or team at the race.

Course Information:
Swim
300 meter pool "snake" swim (25 meter pool). Entrants start one at a time, up and down lane 1, under the lane, repeat in lane 2 until you swim up and down in 6 lanes for a total of 300 meters. Swimmers will start at 10-15 second intervals. Swim caps are not required for pool swim triathlons.
The swim cut-off time is 15 minutes.
Bike
This is a mostly flat loop course with a few rolling sections, taking you through Henrico and Goochland counties on scenic River Road. Police & directional volunteers will be at all major intersections. There is no bottle hand off on the bike.
Run
A flat and fast course on shaded roads through surrounding neighborhoods.

Parking
Pre-race briefing
For the pre-race briefing, park in the lot behind the YMCA building.
Race day
Parking at the YMCA is limited but available in the front and back lots. Please note sparking in front of the YMCA is for members only. Additional parking will also be avaiable Mayberry Elementary School.
