What is Heat the Streets Run & Walk for Warmth?
Heat the Streets Run is a professionally-timed 5K starting at Midtown Crossing and winding through the historic Midtown and Field Club neighborhoods.
Walk for Warmth is an untimed, one-mile walk around Midtown Crossing.
For the first time this year, we're offering a 400-meter sprint! This quick event will be one time around the loop at Turner Park with a downhill finish!
Why do we have this event?
Proceeds from the run and walk go to local energy assistance programs to help seniors, people with disabilities and low-income families pay their utility bills. The event is held in the cold winter months to bring attention to those who struggle to keep the lights on and heat their homes.
