Race Tools

Individuals and teams will compete in a race consisting of a 500 yard swim, a 12.4 mile (20k) bike ride, and a 3.1 (5k) mile run. Teams can consist of 2 or 3 members, with individuals on 3 member teams each participating in one event, and 1 individual competing in 2 events on the 2 member teams.

Kids ages 5-8 will swim 50 yards, bike .5 miles, and run .25 miles; kids ages 9-11 will swim 100 yards, bike 1 mile, and run .5 miles; kids ages 12-14 will swim 200 yards, bike 3 miles, and run 1 mile.

Course Information:

The swimming portion of the race will take place in the SDSU collegiate pool, while the biking will bring you through the surrounding Brookings area countryside, and the run will take you through the SDSU campus, finishing in the endzone of the new football stadium.
