The 13th Annual Cache Valley Super Sprint Triathlon is back in Logan, Utah. This is a great community race that also brings in deep competition from all over Utah. It is a great triathlon to start out on or to hone your skill as an athlete. The Logan Aquatic Center is home to this race with a great 50 Meter Pool and facility.
Swim 500 Meters in a Serpentine Style meaning entering in on one side of the Pool and changing lanes when you hit the Far Side until you are out of the pool for 500 Meters
Bike 12.5 Miles - Riders exit transition T1 to the road and head West on the road to Mendon. This road has two busy instections with traffic support but then they are fast out and back on 100% paved farm roads.
Run 3.1 Miles - Runners exit T2 to the road. Quickly they find themselves under a canopy of trees on a trail alongside the Logan River.
A few years back we set up the course to allow for an Olympic Distance by having the racers Swim, Bike, Run on the Sprint and then repeat the course for a second Swim, Bike, Run. This is considered an F1 format for triathlons and during July is fun to get a second swim.
