_ 2017 New River Trail Challenge:
The New River Trail Challenge takes place at New River Trail State Park along the parks "Rails to Trails" trail. It consists of a 40 mile ride, 12 mile kayak, and half marathon run. Competitors may enter either solo or as a team, all skill levels and ages are represented.
Course Information:
The New River Trail is a mostly flat "Rails to Trail" path along the New River Trail. The paddle depends greatly on the river flow but all levels of competitors can complete the course.
