_ 2017 Layton Triathlon:
The Layton Triathlon is back for an 8th year at the Layton Surf N Swim. This is a fun triathlon with great views of the Layton Commons Park the residential area of Layton City. The thing that makes this race unique is that there are several turns on the bike.
Course Information:
Sprint Distance (Total Distance Swim 600 Yards, Bike 11 Miles, Run 3.1 Miles)
Swim 300 Yards, Bike 5.5 Miles, Run 1.55 Miles, then repeat another Swim 300 Yards, Bike 5.5 Miles, Run 1.55 Miles
Mini Sprint Distance
Swim 300 Yards, Bike 5.5 Miles, Run 1.55 Miles
Kids Triathlon Distance (Parents are allowed to help support the racers)
Swim 100 Yards, Bike 1 Miles, Run .5 Miles
All Bike courses are on roads and the run courses are in Layton Commons Park. The run is beautiful with views under a canopy of trees and running for 50% of it along a quiet stream.
