Course Information:
Sprint Triathlon
This is one of the best first timer courses with a calm Peconic Bay swim, a mostly flat, scenic 8 mile bike and an equally scenic 3.5 mile run. Held in the heart of Long Island's wine region, this event has something for both athletes and spectators alike.
SWIM - 500 Meters
Swim is out and back along the Peconic Bay.
BIKE - 8 Miles
One loop bike course that is mostly flat with a few rolling hills.
Bikes allowed: Road bike, time trial, mountain bike or hybrid. (Sorry, no tandem or recumbent bikes!)
RUN - 3.5 Miles
Run is one loop with rolling hills and a water stop at the 1.5 mile mark.
