    • Course Information:

    2011 Powder Hound Race Course:
  • 5K Run
  • 10K Mountain Bike
  • 5K Cross-Country Ski.
  • The entire course will be held on groomed XC Ski Trails.
  • MB tires run well on these trails with tire pressures of around 15psi.
  • The XC Ski Trail will be groomed with classic and skate tracks.

    • Directions:

  • Get off I-90 at Exit 233 and head to the south side of the highway overpass.
  • Forest Service Road 240 begins at the cattle guard.
  • Drive 3 miles and look for the Homestake Lodge Entry on the right after the power lines.

    • Other Info:

  • This event will be run at the Homestake Lodge; Montana's newest Cross Country Ski Center.
  • The courses will be on the x-c ski trails and forest service roads. They will wind through woods, meadows and include some steep ascents and descents.
  • Race Entry includes one trip through the Homestake Lodge Soup and Sandwhich Bar and a day trail pass.
  • Showers available after the event, bring your own towel.
