DISTANCES & RACE DESCRIPTION: Olympic Distance (1.5K Swim, 40K Bike and 10K Run) Swim at Anaehoomalu Bay at the Waikoloa Beach Resort. The Bike ride is out and back on the Queen Ka`ahumanu Hwy. then back into the resort. T1 & T2 are in the same location. The run is through the Waikoloa Beach Resort & the grounds of the Hilton Waikoloa Village and has varied terrain consisting of lava, sand, coral trail, road, lawn, & flagstone path with a beach finish. Trail shoes are recommended over racing flats.

AMENITIES: Voted: "Best Awards Party in Triathlon" ~ Beer Garden, Live Music, Beach BBQ under the coconut grove at beautiful Anaeho'omalu Bay. Shirts & medals for all finishers. LATE REGISTRATION - Charity Slots: Once sold out, any new registrations (replacing cancellations) will require an additional Charity Donation to help raise funds for some of the many Non-Profit Organizations who volunteer for the Lavaman Triathlon. You can help support those who support you on Race Day. Details will be announced on www.lavamantriathlon.com once the race is sold out.
