_ 2017 Tri Chewacla Sprint Triathlon:
• The 3rd annual sprint triathlon in one of the best state parks in Alabama.
• The swim course is an open water swim in Chewacla State Park lake. Athletes will be able to view the waterfall as they enter the last turn to the swim finish.
• The first 8 miles of the bike course is very fast with few climbs and the last 4 are gentle rolling hills.
• The run course takes athletes to the top of Chewacla Mountain with a very fast decent to the finish and is 100% shaded.
