Course Information:
The Haystack Mountain Time Trials is a 16.8 mile event. The first section of the course on US-36 is flat with a slight rise leading into the turn onto Nelson road. Nelson has a gentle downhill with tailwinds the norm. Expect speeds exceeding 30 mph on some sections. A slight rise on Nelson brings riders to the intersection with 75th around mile 10. 75th street, which becomes 73rd street presents riders with the challenge of many medium sized rollers before the right turn onto Niwot road. Niwot and Neva roads to the finish are into the wind with a slight rise at the line.

Directions:
From Denver: US 36 north through Boulder. Continue north approximately 5 miles on US 36/CO 7 towards Lyons. Parking is just south of the Neva Road intersection. Look for signs.

[br]From Fort Collins: I-25 south. Take exit 243 for CO 66/County Road 30 west to Lyons. Left turn onto US 36/CO 7 south towards Boulder. Follow for 7 miles-- look for signs.
