_ 2017 WILDE STORM CHALLENGE
The Sarasota Storm Tri Club proudly presents the 2017 edition of our Wilde Storm Challenge. Boasting a completely new line-up of events, the NEW Storm Challenge offers something for any and all skill levels. Beginner, youth, competitive, non-competitive team and simply social racing awaits you at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, FL. As this venue continues to develop, hosting numerous world-class events, we are pleased to announce that construction of the Finish Tower will be complete and this amazing structure will be featured in 2017.
Course Information:
ADULT SUPERSPRINT (Ages 16 & UP)
SWIM: 200-meters along the beach with Time Trial Start
BIKE: 4-miles around the lake at Nathan Benderson Park
RUN: 1.75-miles on our floating run course
YOUTH SUPERSPRINT (Ages 6-10)
SWIM: 100-meters along the beach & noodle line with Time Trial Start
BIKE: 4-miles around the lake at Nathan Benderson Park
RUN: 0.5-miles on our floating run course
YOUTH SUPERSPRINT (Ages 11-15)
SWIM: 200-meters along the beach & noodle line with Time Trial Start
BIKE: 4-miles around the lake at Nathan Benderson Park
RUN: 1.1-miles on our floating run course
4-PERSON SUPERSPRINT TEAM RELAY COMPETITION
Each team member completes the Adult SuperSprint course
#1 swims, bikes, runs then exchanges with #2 at the Start/Finish Line
This repeats with each team member until #4 crosses the FINISH!
