A Fresh run on day 1, 2017. The Fresh Year 5k is a race/run/walk/crawl through the up and coming neighborhoods of Oakland City, Capitol View, and Sylvan Hills. The start of the race is on the site of the adaptive re-use venue Murphy Park Fairgrounds. There will be music, hot chocolate, cool swag, and more. Prizes for specific age group winners awarded. Every advance registration gets a warm beanie with embroirdery.
Event details and schedule
The Fresh Year 5k 2017 run/walk/crawl is held on January 1, 2017. The strating line is at Murphy Park Fairgrounds located at 880 Warner ST SW Atlanta, GA 30310. The gun goes off at 12:00pm. All registration check-in will begin at 10:30am the day of the event. Plenty of free parking is available on the fairgrounds lot. Please bring your registration confirmation, waiver print out, and ID. Check the weather and dress appropriately.
The course is an out and back asphalt loop that goes by the BeltLine Farm, south on Allene, and by Perkerson Park, through Capitol City, and Sylvan Hills.
