Race4Respect™ is the only 5K and 1K Kids Dash in the nation’s capital dedicated to Down syndrome awareness. The 5K is a UASTF timed race. Strollers,wheel chairs and walkers are welcome, Race4Respect™ is a family friendly event! Check out the course map HERE.

Special guest, Sean McElwee, from the Emmy-Award winning reality show, Born this Way will be joining us as we stop traffic in Washington, DC for Down syndrome awareness! The Race4Respect™ believes that experiencing an event with someone who has Down syndrome or any other disability will help to eliminate negative judgments and stereotypes.
Inaugural Race4Respect™ VIRTUAL RACE!
Be a part of the Race4Respect™ in DC no matter where you live! People from ACROSS THE COUNTRY will be running in honor of their connection to Down syndrome with family, friends, co-workers, classmates or even solo as part of the 2017 Race4Respect™! Virtual runners will receive a race t-shirt, medal and bib! Registration for the Virtual R4R will close 5/19/2017!
Join R4R's TeamUp School Challenge and have a chance to win $3,000 grant for your school's special education department!
*The largest three (3) school teams of 5K runners will WIN a $3,000 GRANT for special education department at their school!
*Race4Respect™ is a fan of "a little something extra", so the largest virtual race school team will also win a $3,00 grant for their school's special education department!
