Come run or walk on the beautiful Meridian Valley CC golf course on New Year's Day! The entire race is on the golf course cart paths, with no street crossings, so it is very safe for kids and dogs.
The 5k course wanders up and down the hills and over the Soos Creek. The 2k course is flat and perfect for kids and dogs.
You will recieve a free t-shirt as well as free beverages and snacks at the conclusion of the race!
All proceeds go to the American Lake Veteran's Golf course in nearby Lakewood, WA. It is the only golf course in the USA that is designed to be fully accessible for disabled veterans. http://veterangolf.org/
Bring friends and family!! Open to the entire community not just members of MVCC.
Event details and schedule
Registration begins at the Meridian Valley clubhouse at 9am.
You will need to access Meridian Valley CC at the front gate which is on SE132nd , just North of Wilson playfields. Stop first at the guard house and then proceed to the clubhouse.
Race begins at 10am. The start and finish line are at the clubhouse front doors. The 5k race has some hills. The 2k race is flat. Runners will start first...then walkers.
Immediately following the race free hot and cold beverages and snacks will be available to the contestants.
Please have your dogs on a leash and bring a bag to pick up after them. No dogs in the clubhouse.
