_ 2017 Mack Cycle Key Biscayne Triathlon Trilogy:
The Mack Cycle Trilogy Triathlon "Bonus Round" is part of a series offered by Multirace. This summer race event takes place in Miami Marine Stadium. Swimmers will have a warm salt water swim, a beautiful bike course along the Rickenbacker Causeway and a run through Virginia Key. Athletes have a choice to participate in all 3 races, gaining points for the overall Trilogy series, or they can race in separate events. There is also a bonus round offered in September, giving athletes a chance to earn more points.
Course Information:
Swimmers will enter water from shore. The course is counter clockwise and exits in a separate exit to transition.. For those people who prefer not to swim, we offer the sprint duathlon. The swim is replaced with a 1 mile run. Cyclists have a beautiful ride on the Rickenbaker Causeway, also a challenging back and forth on the Rickenbaker bridge. For both the bike and the run, sprint distance athletes will complete 1 lap and the international distance athletes will complete 2 laps. The run course takes competitors through Virginia Key. The trail is shaded and has various terrain.
