- Events include a half marahon, 10K, 5K walk/run and kid's dash. A festive Mardi Gras spirit is alive! Wear your green and purple best! Dash to the tunes of New Orleans jazz and take in the view of the blue bay with panaramic views from Fiesta Island. All finishers receive a custom Mardi Gras theme medal. Half marathon athletes receive a larger medal and technical shirt. The 5k and 10k athletes also earn a medal and receive a cotton T shirt. We offer unisex women's shirts. All registraints after January 24 will receive unisex shirts. Overall winners for 1, 2, 3 receive gift certificate and additional medal. There are 11 age divisions for Age Group Medals in 1, 2, 3 place. Please stay a bit for winners of the age divisions to be posted. Winners can pick up their age group medal at the volunteer booth. Because runners like to do good things, we are collecting canned goods for Father Joe' Village.
