2016 Silverlake Triathlon:
The 9th annual Silverlake Sprint and Olympic Triathlons take place at scenic Southwyck Lake Park located in suburban Pearland, TX, just 25 minutes south of Houston. The beautiful man-made lake is the perfect backdrop for the 400 meter Sprint and 1,500 meter Olympic Australian-style swim courses. The bike and run courses are flat and fast, winding around Southwyck Lake Park and through the surrounding tree-lined esplanades of the west Pearland Silverlake neighborhoods. The Olympic bike and run courses are 2 loops of the Sprint courses allowing family members and spectators to cheer you on to your new PR during the swim, bike and run segments of both events! For families with small children, playground equipment and a moonwalk are available at the race site (adult supervision is required). The event also includes a post-race festival complete with food, music and Sprint and Olympic award ceremonies.Directions:
