The 3rd Annual Salt Lake City WinterPride combined with the 10th Annual QUAC Ski-n-Swim Weekend brings together great social and cultural events ranging from live entertainment, outdoor recreation, film and art, and much more. - - - - - Watch world class athletes participate in competitive US Masters sanctioned swim competitions, water polo match and diving expo. Register for the friendly competitions or sit on the side and cheer for your friends.- - - - -

Course Information:

25 yd by 50 m heated indoor pool. There will be 8 lanes for competition and 2 warm-up / warm-down lanes available throughout the meet. Electronic timing will be used. - - - - - The facility consists of a 25-yard, eight-lane competition pool and a 25-yard, six-lane practice pool (to be used concurrently for waterpolo play). It also has a separate 15-foot deep diving tank with an automatic bubble system. There is seating for up to 1,000 fans for home meets.- - - - -

Location: University of Utah Aquatic Center, 270 South 1850 East, Salt Lake City

- - - - - DIRECTIONS: University of Utah Ute Natatorium

From Salt Lake City International Airport, exit the airport onto I-80 East. In about two miles, exit at 600 South, which is a one way street heading east. Take 600 South to 700 East and turn left. Turn right at 400 South. Continue heading east until you come to the Guardsman Way/Campus Center Drive intersection, then turn left. Get into the far lane and bear right onto South Campus Drive. Proceed east to Wasatch Drive, then turn left. Take your first left into the parking lot east of the Jon M. Huntsman Center (silver dome). Parking is available along the north end of the lot. From the parking lot, head west down the steps and follow the side walk to the right. Proceed past the first building on your right. Ute Natatorium is in front of you to the right. Entrance is on the north side of the building.

From I-15 North, take 600 South exit. (Follow above directions from this point.)

From northbound Foothill Boulevard, take a right at Wasatch Drive. Proceed past the intersection at South Campus Drive and take your first left into the parking lot east of the Jon M. Huntsman Center (silver dome). Same as above directions from this point.

To Deck Enter: All deck entries must be completed no later than 45 minutes prior to the start of the entered event. Swimmers who deck enter the first two events must do so by 9:15 AM. Every year we process a large number of deck entries. To help us start the meet on time, please preregister!- - - - - FEES:

On-Line Pre-register: $5, limit to 5 events

Deck/Late Entry: $10 plus $2.50 per event

Eligibility: All swimmers must be registered with USMS (proof is required). USMS/Utah registration for 2008 will be offered on deck for $40.

Important Eligibility Rule: RULE 102.2 2: For short course yards the eligibility of a participant for a particular age group shall be determined as of January 26, 2008.

Age Groups: 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, etc. in 5 year increments.

All events will be timed finals with heats seeded by time, slowest to fastest. Genders will swim together (mixed).

Please note: Participants may only swim 5 Events.

- - - - - Records:

Swimmers attempting to set records during the meet should notify the Starter to assure that three official timers will be present.

Heats: Heat sheets will be posted around the deck. Swimmers who miss their heats may not swim in another heat unless successfully protested to Meet Director and Referee. Swimmers without seed times may be placed in the slowest (earlier) heats.
